So, they have finally release a teaser for the Golden Compass. A lot of the stuff shows us a work in progress of what the film will look like with unfinished special effects.

Commented by bse on March 29, 2007 at 2:30 pmSo thats why there’s no trailer. They haven’t done enough of the effects shots. Looks pretty good though. The fantasy bits of Oxford are a bit OTT but the rest looks oustanding. Excellent. I’ll try and find a better qaulity than youtube copy.

Super cool though. Looks a bit like the BBC making a live action Studio Ghibli movie with a huge budget. Sold!
