Quite a nice sounding dance track at number 1, remember Robyn…she did “Show Me Love” in 1993.
It’s also nice to see Kayne not top the charts.

The Coral are back?

The Coral are indeed back and about as boring as ever although I do have one happy memory regarding the Coral… remember The Garage?
I didn’t realise Enrique was worried about Ray also, should I worry about Ray? It seems there’s general cause for concern
Have you heard Newton Faulkner’s cover of Massive Attack’s Teardrop btw?
Commented by Jen on August 16, 2007 at 4:51 pmOops. well lets leave them all worried about Ray, he must be in trouble!
I have heard that cover but I do like the Newton Faulkner single quite alot.
Commented by Becca on August 16, 2007 at 5:17 pmI’m worried about Ray too.
Robyn’s “Show Me Love” is not to be confused with Robin S’ “Show Me Love”. Both we remember but Robin S had the classic pop house track. Robyn’s was a bit Ace Of bass/Eternal. Sounds like the world is confused.
Commented by bse on August 16, 2007 at 11:26 pmYeah, i really do think that the world is confused!
Commented by Becca on August 17, 2007 at 3:55 pmThe Lemonheads also did that song “It’s a Shame About Ray” so they’d probably heard something (about 15 years ago). Back then Ray looked a lot like Johnny Depp:

He’s changed:

Also the tune of the Hoosier’s song is blatantly swiped from The Turtles (or Jason Donovan):

Boo-siers!
